Our research interests combine aspects of materials-oriented synthetic chemistry with aspects of physicochemical (e.g., photocatalysis and spectroscopic) characterization and utilization of novel materials for degradation of harmful pollutants in water. Moreover, we conduct research on the synthesis and characterization of 2D materials for electronic devices applications.

Research interests:

- Photocatalytic degradation of harmful pollutants 

- Materials synthesis (semiconductors, 2D materials, hybrid materials, functional micro- and nanostructures) 

- Electronic devices and working principles of photodetectors and sensors

- Nanofiltration using graphene membranes
